Go Abroad China offers study tours for international students and schools. GAC Study Tours give a real insight into China as it is crafted to offer a perfect balance of Chinese language and academic learning, cultural workshops and guided tours. Every tour is unique as it is designed according to the individual group's educational interest. We utilize our resources and connections throughout the country to develop tailor made tours for a variety of clients. You will travel, study, learn and experience old and new China - from the historical and traditional perspective to the modern and present day. China Study Tour Program - Features

  • GAC’s professional and experienced staff provides onsite, 24 hour assistance to make your tour safe and fun.
  • Study and travel together, experience China more than just a normal tourist, get to interact with locals, bargain while shopping, etc.
  • Homestay accommodation or shared apartment with Chinese roommate.

China Study Tour Program - Components

  • Intensive Chinese survival language & culture courses in Beijing.
  • Onsite group orientation or seminars held in English by GAC staff and selected industry and academic experts in China.
  • Onsite visits to selected organizations, schools, Chinese and multi nationals companies, countryside villages or other venues of interest.
  • Interactive Culture workshops in English introduce Chinese culture, art and music. eg. Calligraphy, Cooking, Peking Opera, Tai chi, Wushu, Mahjong, Songs, Crafts.
  • Activities such as panel discussions and seminars with Chinese students in same age level and interests as that of the tour participants.
  • Guided study tours to China's historic attractions including facilitation by qualified English speaking tour guide, sightseeing and admission fees, such as. Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Temples of Heaven, Summer Palace, etc.
  • A range of homestay and shared apartment with Chinese roommate in Beijing, hotel accommodation from 3 stars to 5 stars when travelling outside of Beijing. Hotels are selected on the basis of their security, location, comfort, and facilities. Students also have opportunity to live with local host families in Beijing, to get first hand experience into the Chinese culture and way of life.
  • All meals breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided during the study tour. Special Chinese cuisine is also arranged as a part of cultural experiences, that include: Peking Duck, Chinese Feast, Xin jiang, Hotpot, Chinese dumplings, etc.
  • Airport transfers from airport and back are included. Domestic transportation like air-conditioned bus, train and airplane is provided for transport to listed locations in itinerary.
  • GAC’s professional and experienced staff provides onsite, 24 hour assistance including travel arrangements, educational needs, accommodation, meals, logistics, as you study and travel in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an and other cities in China on the itinerary specially tailored to your needs. The 4-week program fee is US$ 3,880 per student
What is included in the program fee?

1) Intensive Chinese language courses:

Includes 3-4 hour intensive langue study each morning. GAC provides carefully selected faculties with rich experience in teens teaching. The teachers are native Chinese university graduates with years of experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. All teachers teach at renowned universities in China such as Beijing language and Culture University, Tsinghua University, Peking University and Beijing Normal University. Language textbooks, Chinese movies DVDs, and Chinese study software programs will be provided to students. Chinese tutoring and conversation practice with Chinese local people, Chinese teenager language partners, Chinese host families, and host Chinese teenagers will also be placed during other culture and tour activities. Speaking Chinese as much as possible is a principle during the stay in Beijing.

2) Accommodation:

Live in a 3 start hotel, with a very advantageous geographic location, it is situated in the ancient Imperial Inner City, on the side of the Forbidden City and it adjoins the west side of the Wangfujing Street. There are 164 distinctive economical rooms and deluxe rooms which are elaborately designed by artists. It not only meets the needs of business and tourism guests, but also is specially designed suites for families. Meanwhile, all rooms are equipped with desks, high-speed network access, large-screen LCD TVs, satellite TV channels and so on.

3) Food:

3 meals a day are provided in fancy restaurants around Beijing. Food is also part of the cultural experiences, which includes: Peking Duck, Chinese Feast, Xinjiang, Hotpot, Chinese dumplings, etc. Snacks, drinking water, fruit are provided daily.

4) Transportation:

Airport transfers from airport and to the airport are included. Transportation is by air-conditioned bus or train to listed locations in itinerary.

5) Guided study tours to China's historic attractions:

Include qualified English speaking tour guide, sightseeing and admission fees. The tours will include places such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, China Notational Grand Museum, Tibet Lama Temple, Taoist Temple, Summer Palace, etc.

6) Culture workshops, volunteer activities, excursions:

such as in calligraphy, cooking, martial arts, Tai Chi, acrobatic show, Peking Opera, and Chinese medicine, etc.  

7) Welcome Pack:

includes transportation card, local mobile SIM card and pre-paid long distance calling card, international phone call card( to keep close contact with family and friends), Chinese DVDs, Beijing map, Beijing guide book, local English magazines, GAC T-shirts, souvenirs to students and their families, program certificate, and more.

8) GAC’s professional and experienced

Staff provides onsite 24 hour assistance including travel arrangements, educational needs, accommodation, meals, and logistics. GAC staff is ready to solve any problems and ensure the quality of the education tours. 24/7 medical doctors and emergency support are available.
