Peking University - Overview
Throughout its history, Peking has distinguished itself as one of China's leading universities and has produced some of the country's most prominent leaders. Renowned for its teaching and research centres, over the past century more than 400 Peking University alumni have gone on to become the presidents of other major Chinese universities.
In a major tie-up with western universities, Peking University signed an agreement with Cornell University which requires students of the later university to spend a semester in China whilst being part of internships.
At present, Peking University has 46,074 students, among whom 4,400 are international students from 80 countries around the world studying various degree programs. In addition a few hundreds are on learning Chinese programs at Peking University annually.

Standard and Intensive Program
Standard program includes 20 academic hours a week. While the intensive course offers 30 hours. Intensive program is suitable for students seeking for fast improvement and achieving fluency in Chinese in a short term. Standard program is for those who prefer slower pace of studying and like to combine learning with leisure.
NOTICE:
1)Program application dead line is two weeks before the program starts.
2)Time and program schedule are flexible. We will make all necessary arrangement during your arrival and stay in China.
3)Each program component, like Chinese language curriculum, full Internship package , accommodation and others are optional. Excluded components price will be deducted from final package price. We can also provide Individual, customized program based on your specific requirement. Internship only program is also available.
4)Additional language classes fees are $20 per hour (for tutoring class) and $18 per hour (for small class).
