GAC Beijing office and multi-lingual staff offer prompt assistance & information 24/7 during your entire program stay to help you with your communication needs and emergency matters.

Visa Documentation

When enrollment is completed, participants aregiven the necessary visa support documents needed to apply for a visa to enterthe People's Republic ofChina. 

Pre-Departure Assistance

Prior to yourarrival inChina, GAC offers professional and reliable information and assistance to help you answer any inquiries or concerns you may have regarding your program and life inChina. GAC on site staff will give you a telephone call and also send you a pre-arrival booklet full of pertinent information so that you may fully prepare for yourtrip toChina. 

AirportTransfers

Go Abroad China will arrange greeting and transportation from the airport or train station, upon your arrival in China. The program coordinator will be waiting to greet you at the airport and accompany you to your accommodation, no matter what time of day you arrive in Beijing or Shanghai. GAC's onsite staff will also drop you off to the airport at the time of your departure.

*Please kindly note that an additional charge of US$50 will be required if program participants arrive in and leave China outside the hours 9AM to 6PM.

Welcomeand Farewell Dinner

A welcome dinner is organized to introduce GAC participants to local Chinese cuisine, and at thesame time offer a chance for students to network with other foreign and local Chinese to foster cultural exchange. 

Orientation

An orientation session isgiven on the first days of the program so that you can obtain important information about the city, the program, university, as well as accommodation,restaurants, shops, banks, post offices, and other essential locations.Students will also receive a local area tour so to get familiar with the district. 

Daily Life Setup Service

GAC helps to minimize life, language, cultureand communication barriers, allowing students to have a smoother transitionin to hina during the first days. We also provide the following:

• Assistance with opening bank accountsand currency exchange
• Assistance with recharging cell phone
• Assistance with sending and receiving mail and parcels
• Assistance with Chinese visa renewal should you wish to extend your stay inChina
• Other assistance with your specific requirements.

PlacementTest 

We accompany students on the first day of theprogram start date to take the placement test where students will be tested inthree areas: grammar, comprehension, and fluency. Based on the test results,students will be placed in a class best suited to their current comprehensionand fluency level.

Textbooksand Study Materials

Students withGAC programs receive all required textbooks for free. 

Skypefor International Call

For your convenience, in being able to stay intouch with your friends and family back home, GAC provides Skype Accounts for calling back home. 

Certificate& Credit  

Upon the successful completion of the program,students will receive a certificate. In the event that you cannot pickup thecertificate by yourself, we will help you retrieve it and ensure that it getsto you safely. Additionally, we can also help students gather information toobtain university credits as required from your hometown university.

Part-time Job, Internship & Work Experience  

Students enrolled to study for 6 months or longer are offered assistance in seeking workexperience with foreign and local corporations or part time teaching job withlocal schools. 

Departure Assistance  

At the end of your program, things can get quite hectic as you prepare to go back home and dothe things you want to do before you leave. In order to help you lessen thestress, we will:

• Help you close any accounts (i.e. bank,mobile, etc.)
• Offer you assistance to pre-transportof any additional luggage(s) back to your home country, if required
• Offer you assistance for Chinese visa Renewal should you wish to extend your stay inChina
• Provide airport transportation to Airport or Train Station to ensure you depart safely.
